Corrective Eyebrow Shaping
Your eyebrows are the frame of your face. Corrective eyebrow shaping treatment adds fullness and definition to thin or sparse eyebrows, balancing your asymmetrical features. Depending on your preferences we’ll find the best option for you, from light shading to adding more hair strokes for a subtle or more pronounced look.
Eyelash Enhancement and Eyeliner
Permanent eyeliner treatment can be anything from a soft haze to a darker more defined look, if you prefer a more expressive look. You can choose eyelash enhancement by adding the color between lashes to make them appear thicker and voluminous, with an appearance as if you were wearing makeup.
Lip Shaping and Pigmentation
This treatment is for you if you are looking to restore the shape, symmetry and color of your lips. Based on your individual features, we choose the shape and style of shading from natural tone to more visible color. As a result your lips will look fuller, more youthful and sensual.
What is the difference between Permanent Makeup and Tattooing?
The purpose of permanent makeup is to enhance the natural features of a client and/or correct small imperfections such as asymmetric proportions. Permanent makeup is meant to be a natural looking beauty enhancement, which is why it looks softer and more subtle. Body tattoos use ink which is darker and bold, while permanent makeup uses pigments designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the technician to make changes and adjustments with colors and shapes over time as the client's natural coloration and facial changes occur.
How long does each procedure take?
You should plan on spending 2.5-3 hours at Trifecta Med Spa for a procedure. This time includes consultation, paper work, proper numbing, the procedure, aftercare instructions and pictures. Touch-ups usually do not require the same amount of time.
Is the procedure safe?
It is absolutely safe. At Trifecta Med Spa NYC, we follow the highest hygiene and safety standards, using single-use disposable needles and supplies. This means that each set-up for each client is discarded safely afterwards. In addition, our rooms are thoroughly disinfected between each procedure.
What if I decide to change the makeup later?
At Trifecta Med Spa, we work with your natural face features to enhance, correct in a natural way (if needed), and to highlight them. You may use any everyday cosmetics in addition to your permanent makeup, nevertheless your face will look fresher and better even without it.
How will my permanent makeup look in the future?
During your appointment, we will analyze your skin undertone to anticipate how pigment colors will fade in the future and we will mix special formulas to ensure color remains in the same tone. We will also mix pigments to ensure color blends well with your existing eyebrow and hair color. Your permanent makeup will eventually look softer as the pigment fades with the time.
Am I a candidate for permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is a great choice for those who have: the desire to enhance and/or improve their natural features, allergy to everyday cosmetics, high sensitivity to eye lenses, visible skin imperfections, lack of makeup skills, chemotherapy after effects, hair loss and busy New York schedules.
