For the safe and rapid collection of autologous PRP, we use a small amount of your own blood followed by an infusion of PRP and chosen actives by microneedling device into the skin. PRP works because the plasma and platelets are the components of blood that are full of growth factors, nutrients, and proteins. Platelet-Rich Plasma, the liquid that contains platelets, is separated from whole blood by centrifuging until it separates out from red blood cells. This concentrated PRP is then delivered with a microneedling device into specific areas of the skin.

The PRP then acts as a biological scaffolding on which your body will grow collagen naturally. It also regenerates tissue, which speeds up your skin’s repair process. This typically results in a thicker dermis, with softer fine lines and wrinkles, less scarring and improved skin tone.

The entire procedure takes about 60-90 minutes to perform.

The number of procedures needed depends on each individual patient, desired results and treatment plan. As a standalone therapy, a series of three treatment sessions is usually recommended, performed 4 to 5 weeks apart for best results. For deeper wrinkles or other age signs, 6-8 treatments may be recommended to achieve optimal results.

There may be some minor level of discomfort during the procedure and some redness immediately following the treatment that goes away 2-3 hours after the session.

There have been no known side effects arising from PRP Facial reported to date because it uses your own biological material. Some patients may experience mild temporary swelling, irritation, or redness at infusion sites that resolves within a few hours.
